Word counter questions
How are words counted?
Words are split on whitespace after trimming. Numbers and hyphenated tokens count as words. Empty input shows zero.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Counting runs entirely in your browser. Duyuz does not receive the text you paste into this tool.
What do reading and speaking times mean?
Reading uses about 200 words per minute; speaking about 130. They are rough planning estimates, not guarantees.
